Two Covers Tell the Story

On the week of May 27 1960 coup Hayat (Turkish Life) magazine is nondescript. A week later a military portrait of Mustafa Kemal will grace the cover. At the 50th anniversary of the coup some Turks still defend it and use the ideas of Ataturk as their cover.
