DVD: Once Upon a Time in Anatolia
SUNDAY 08 JULY 2012A two-and-a-half-hour Turkish film, even one that bagged the Grand Prix at Cannes, could give you the pre-dentist feeling that it's probably going to be good for you but you're not going to enjoy it.
Try to suppress that feeling. Once Upon a Time…doesn't have any car chases, love scenes or anything you could call a dramatic climax, but Nuri Bilge Ceylan's rural crime drama is so engrossing, there isn't a shot or line in it you wouldn't want to be there.
