International Adana Film Festival, which is a festial held every year in Turkey’s Adana province, was organized in September, 2017. The official name was changed to International Adana Film Festival.

AWARDS
"Aşkın Gören Gözlere İhtiyacı Yoktur" by Onur Ünlü took the awards for "best movie" and "best director" under the category of "National Feature Film." Hare Sürel won the Outstanding Female Performance in a Supporting Role award, while Onur Saylak won both the Yılmaz Güney Award and the Adana Viewers' Award for "Daha" ("More"). "İşe Yarar Bir Şey" swept many awards, including Best Screenplay for Barış Bıçakçı-Pelin Esmer, Outstanding Female Performance in a Leading Role for Başak Köklükaya and Best Cinematographer for Gökhan Tiryaki. Fatih Artman won the outstanding lead actor award for his role in "Love doesn't need seeing eyes" and Sürel earned the Outstanding Female Performance in a Supporting Role award.
The award for Best Movie Score went to Mustafa Biber for "Buğday" ("Wheat") and Naz Erdağ won Best Art Director for the same film. "Kar" ("Snow") won the award for Best Editing won by Ayris Alptekin, while Hazar Ergüçlü won the Türkan Şoray Most Promising Young Actress award for the same movie. The award for Outstanding Male Performance in a Supporting Role was presented to Ahmet Varlı for "Taş" ("Stone"). The Jury's Special Prize went to Emre Yeksan for "Körfez" ("Gulf"), while the Most Promising Young Actor award was presented to Hayat Van Eck for his performance in "Daha.
