Citta di Atakoy | Luigi Piccinato

Mavi Boncuk|

Luigi Piccinato (October 30, 1899, Legnago, Italy –July 29, 1983, Rome, Italy) was an Italian architect and town planner. Active as a member of the Rationalist tendency in the inter-war period, he worked with Pagano, Piacentini, and others on the plans for the Esposizione Universale di Roma (EUR) for the E42 exhibition (not realized because of the 1939–1945 war). His town-planning work included schemes for Sabaudia (1936–8) and Catania (1960–2).
