Otisabi...Finally a TV series

Having high hopes that it is possible to capture the atmosphere and humor of this fantastic comic series. Otisabi by Yilmaz Aslanturk [1]...Finally a TV series.

[1] My twin brother Sedat and I were born in Artvin in 1964. I started drawing cartoons and painting after an accident set the two of us apart when we were 12. I was accepted to Mimar Sinan University in 1982. My cartoons were printed in Gırgır, Dıgıl and Avni comics. I started drawing for Pişmiş Kelle in 1990. I was both drawing cartoons and writing a column named "Otisabi". I started drawing "Başımdan Geçti Bunlar" with the support of Engin Ergönültaş. Computers became a part of my life after I started working as a graphic artist for Yeni Yüzyıl daily. I was making illustrations, maps, logos, graphics with FreeHand and Adobe Photoshop. I made illustrations for firms like Turkcell, Castrol and Coca-Cola. I made Flash animations for Milliyet daily's website. I drew the Otisabi stories for Penguen comic between 2002 and 2006. İ directed the graphic departmant in Milliyet daily between 1999-2009. I am still drawing "Otisabi" for "Uykusuz comic" and also freelance working as graphic artist, drawing illustrations.
