In moments of weakness Temel Kotil has no time. Strong cold, the head of Turkish Airlines torments into his office at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, the work will not tolerate any breaks. Kotil leads an airline that is growing faster than any rival - including Emirates, Etihad and Lufthansa. "We have flown in 2011 over 20 new destinations," says the 53-year-old. And so it should go into the world, especially to Germany. In April launch first direct flights from Istanbul to Bremen, Leipzig, followed in May.
