Turkish Gastronomy is showcased in the world. The Gault&Millau guide, which was first published by two journalists and food critics in Paris in 1969, is considered one of the two most prestigious gastronomy guides in the world. The guide, which included Turkey as the 17th country, carried out field work in the country's leading tourism points in 2023. The selection prepared after the studies was announced at the ceremony held at Çırağan Palace. Plaques were presented to the winning restaurants and chefs.
During the night, Doğuş Food and Beverage Tourism and Retail Group made a name for itself on the list. 19 brands and 1 chef were deemed worthy of awards. The winner of the Best Resort Hotel of the Year Food and Beverage Achievement Award was D Maris Bay. Da Mario, Roka, Zuma and Gina Kanyon won the International Culinary Awards. The best hospitality award was given to Argos in Cappadocia, and 2 Hat Awards were given to Maçakızı and Nahita. In the Modern Cuisine category, Günaydın Kebap & Steakhouse Etiler, Masa, Parle, 29 and Vogue Restaurant were awarded.
Gault&Millau, one of the most distinguished guides of world gastronomy, which stepped into Turkey in cooperation with Sözen Group, opens the doors of a brand new era in Turkish gastronomy.
With an award ceremony on 4 December 2023 at Çırağan Kempinski Palace, Gault & Mau 2024 guide is taking its place in the Turkish market.
