REVIEW
"...The film was scripted from a true story that took place in 1993 at a police station located at an altitude of two thousand meters in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. The station commander, Captain Tayfun (Murat Yıldırım), is a loved and respected commander for his practical intelligence and fair treatment of those under his command. In the opening scene of the movie, while Tayfun is scanning for mines in the mountainous region with the squad under his command, they are attacked by a sniper PKK terrorist. Captain Tayfun kills the terrorist, but cannot prevent a private under his command from being martyred. Afterwards, a journalist on leave from the General Staff comes to the headquarters to take photographs of what is happening in the region, and events develop...
The film focuses on the stories of three characters. Captain Tayfun (Murat Yıldırım), Journalist Ufuk (İlker Aksum), a young man (Şahin Kendirci) who does electrical and electronic repairs in the village and the unit. The captain's wife is pregnant and the birth is approaching, but he cannot leave his unit.
A journalist is not what he seems. The talented young man wants to escape from where he lives and go to Ankara, but there are people who love him behind him. In the film, apart from narrating the lives of these three main characters, the stories of the side characters are also briefly touched upon.
