The jury members of the 41st Istanbul Film Festival, which was held by İKSV on 8-19 April 2022

National Competition Jury

Onur Ünlü is the director and screenwriter of the festival’s National Competition jury. The other members of the National Competition Jury chaired by Onur Ünlü are actress Demet Evgar, cinematographer Barış Özbiçer, artist and trainer İnci Eviner and producer Marsel Kalvo.

National Competition Awards

Golden Tulip Best Film, Special Jury Award, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Art Direction, and Best Music in the National Competition A total of 10 awards are given.

The Golden Tulip Best Film in the National Competition will be awarded 150.000 TL, the film that won the Special Jury Award in memory of Onat Kutlar will be awarded 50.000 TL, the Best Female and the Best Actor with 10.000 TL each. The winner of the Best Screenplay Award will be awarded 10,000 TL by Alametholistic, and the composer of the soundtrack selected by the jury in the Best Original Score category will be awarded 5,000 TL by LU Records. Anadolu Efes will give 50,000 TL to the winner of the Best Director award.

National Documentary Competition Jury

The Best Documentary Award, worth 20,000 TL, will be awarded to the best film in the National Documentary Competition organized by the Istanbul Film Festival to support documentary cinema and documentarians. National Documentary Competition jury members are director Kıvılcım Akay, academician and film critic Melis Behlil, and director Yunus Emre Yalçın.

National Short Film Competition Jury

The National Short Film Competition is organized by the Istanbul Film Festival in order to encourage the production of short films, to support the development in this field, and to bring quality short films to the audience. The Best Short Film to be chosen by the jury will be awarded 10.000 TL by Anadolu Efes. National Short Film Competition jury members are producer Cihan Aslı Filiz, actress Aslı İnandık, and director Malaz Usta.

Seyfi Teoman Best First Film Award Jury

The director of the film, which won the Seyfi Teoman Best Debut Film Award, given in memory of the director and producer Seyfi Teoman who passed away in 2012, is given an award of 30,000 TL to encourage his future works. Seyfi Teoman First Film Award has been given by İKSV’s Tulip Card Membership Program for two years with the support of individual donors.


The first feature-length fiction films made in Turkey in the Turkish Cinema section of the festival can be nominated for this award. The jury of the Seyfi Teoman Best First Film Award includes director Nisan Dağ, film critic and film programmer Cédric Succivalli, and producer Cagil Bocut.


33 Years in Turkish Cinema Theme Sponsorship


The “Cinema of Turkey” section of the Istanbul Film Festival, which includes the films that were produced in the 2021-2022 period, will be held for the 35th time this year with the contributions of Anadolu Efes. The films in the Turkish Cinema section of the 41st Istanbul Film Festival will meet with the audience under the titles of National Competition, National Documentary Competition, and National Short Film Competition. Anadolu Efes awarded 10.000 TL for the Best Short Film and 50.000 TL for the winner of the Best Director award in the National Short Film Competition; Anadolu Efes, which is also the main supporter of Meetings on the Bridge, gives 30,000 TL as the Work in Progress award.
