In her second film following her debut Love in Another Language, İlksen Başarır once again deals with a social issue, which is often left unspoken and covered up. The small town lives of Erdem, Sevil and their children Edip and Sevgi, begin to change upon moving to Istanbul. During the following ten years, Edip has gone to a boarding school and moved away from home, whereas Erdem is still chasing his dream of becoming a writer. Sevgi’s behaviour, which suddenly changes, attracts her mother’s attention. Now, each member of this small family will discover a dark secret behind closed doors.
